was wondering if superglue is safe to use on acrylic ? i hope it is cause i just glued some zoos on the back of my tank.

will it eat thru the acrylic with time?

No.

Superglue is actually called blah-blah-blah-cyanoacrylate. It is basically a chemically suspended monomer version of acrylic (a polymer version). When superglue hardens, it polymerizes and turns into acrylic plastic.

Yeah it is "blah-blah-blah-cyanoacrylate" :D No harm done.

What's done is done. Avoid it in the future. It will and can cause hairline fractures that spread and are to deep to sand. Unless you really want to work. It totally recked the face of a 240 gal when some dripped down the face. It can not be wiped off, trying will make a bigger mess. This was a very hard and expensive lesson
