So I guess the only way to make an actual picture show up is to post if to a web hosting site? Or in other words, I have to pay photobucket to give me more space in order to show pictures in a thread as opposed to it showing up as an attachment?

you need to edit the tag and change it from a URL to IMG

Without the question marks

Its a whole extra step I dont like to take the time to do anymore. Also my photobucket account is full so they want me to pay them monthly for more space.

Thanks Scott. I sent a message to you about my Tank thread.

These pictures were taken with a Canon T4i and a Canon 100mm Macro lens. ISO 200, Fstop as low as it will go and shutter speed set according to the lighting needs.

i know its an extra pain, but you can just sign up for a free gmail account (or a second one) and then open a second photbucket account.
gmail will even forward the email to your primary account... or you can sign up for an ipservice (if necessary) and host your own.
if either of you guys care to do something like that (the ip service thing) and don't know where to start, PM and i can walk you through.. (i have no idea how techie either of you are).

i use googles photo hosting service. its called picasa and i haven't had any issues with them yet.
