Obviously a huge waste of one of our greatist natural resources.....huh? what am I saying.......That monster is totally cool. I am so jealous. Can't wait to see pics of it up and running........I need a new income source, first salsa, now anethestisia......lol really nice.

Hey Alberto - I was curious as to what you are going to use for flow on the other end of the tank? I'm tank dreaming of my 750 gallon, and am looking for ideas :) That is a one beautiful tank.

Flow will come from one of 4 sources. There will be a close loop taking water from 2 drains in the bottom and discharging it via an AM3000 to a spray bar that will come in through the middle of the bottom pane and will span the entire length of the tank under the rocks. Another source is the return pump, an iwaki 100 with 2 eductors at the end pointed from one end to the other. The next is 2 close loop pumps (5800 gph each). Each of those close loops will discharge from the top of the tank from one side to the other and each will have outlets covering 1/2 of the tank only and then switching to the other half via automated ball valves. I know this part is hard to visualize though. There should be more flow inthere than I'll know what to do with. I suspect I will need to tie a chain around my ankle before I get my hand inside to place or move a coral LOL...........

Congratulaions once again Alberto. That is an awesome tank and my favorite dimensions, big. LOL. If I ever upsize from my 450, that would be the one. Please keep us posted here, we would love to see it's progress.
Good Luck

yep that thing is huge, guess you could swim in it during the winter months instead of heating your other pool!
:D

That is an awesome tank, can't wait to see it up and running. Maybe I missed something here (I know you made reference to silicone), but is that glass or acrylic.

Wow dude, that tank is bad to the bone. How lucky a guy you are. Maybe, by later tonight I will quit drooling, but I doubt it! Congrats in a most serious way. I trust that you will be posting some updates here on the forum as you set things up so the ambitious, can take notes and scheme...

What a tank, do enjoy..........!

Hmm, i wonder how many 75 gallon tanks i can put in there ;)

That is ONE LARGE TANK!

Looks great Alberto!

Hi Alberto,
The tank is quite nice! Is it made from low iron glass? Who was the manufacture? I hope you have fun setting it up. It should be a great project.
Keep us posted.

Regards,
Kevin
