Thoughts on communications to the club

I would like to propose that all communications that are going to be posted in the PSAS forum as coming from BOD (meeting notices etc.) be posted here in the BOD forum for approval first.

I tend to be a bit anal regarding spelling and grammar; therefore, it bothers me to see a communication that has errors. While I appreciate the need to get the communication out there I would like a chance to proof read before it is posted. I think posting the proposed communication here first with a 48 hour window for approval would not hold up things too long. This would also give us time to hash out the details (like the time of the frag swap) prior to the communication being posted.

Just my thoughts.

Agreed,
My wife is a school teacher with an English major. She has rubbed off on me over the years. I dont use a spell checker, but I do proof read and tripple check before I press submit.



And I still miss things

I whole-heartedly agree! :badgrin:

We all make typos and other errors occasionally (which is just human), but when we're posting on behalf of the BOD, we need to be extra careful and make sure what is being posted is correct and is what we actually want to say.

I will stop posting PSAS Business on the forum. From now on i will email my ideas to each and everyone of you. This was we don't have eye's reading.

It's a good idea anyway.
