Good choice of stars

I have one of those stars in each of my tanks along with a really large star I have not identified and a multitude of the micro serpent stars. I agree that they should never be a problem.

My thoughts would be - if you buy it, then feed it to keep it happy. I am a real advocate of target feeding everyone in the tank that has a mouth and that includes my stars, corals, and fish. Besides it is a kick to watch it pass everything up its legs towards the stomach. Often you hear of a fish or star becoming a "problem" and occasionally (not always) the "problem" is that they are going hungry. If they are a bottom feeder and dependent upon leftovers make sure there is an appropriate amount of leftovers for it. If it steals out of the mouth of a coral then give the coral some more. If all we had to feed was the fish it would take no time which equals no fun.

Right-on MCSInc, and I love your project tank. I'm sure you'll have it under control before very long. Very good post! :D
