To drill or not to drill bottom for closed loop

Well the plumbing is done and no leaks. Gonna let it run in the garage for a week or so just be be sure all is well. Sure got a lot of flow now. The fish are gonna get a workout.
 
Glad you got it worked out and I hope the week test comes back with no leaks. On the flow, they will probably love it!! Mine did in the tank below which had the same outputs you see up top, down below as well :D

Art the loclines hooked up to an Oceans Motion? If so, looks like the 3/4" loclines are not hurting the flow any

No...I've actually never used an Ocean's Motions. On this tank I was running 2 Quiet One pumps for the closed loop rated at 1500 gph each so each side of the tank (top and bottom) got it's own pump. Including the return, I had roughly 4,000 gph in this 38 gal tank LOL! Corals really loved it though. :)
