I'm thinking about one of these, but liveaquaria.com says minimum tank size of 180 gallons. Anyone have opinions on this fish? Mine is 112 gallon - 54" x 24" x 20" high.

My experience with rabbits is that they grow fast, and get wide. I don't see mine needing the swimming space that my tangs do. He tends to just mosey along unless he sees food, then he actually swims! Liveaquaria does list them at getting 11" and I would hold them to that. Like I said, fast growers. Maybe consider a foxface? The one spot generally maxes out around 7"

That's pretty big - bigger than I want in my tank I think. I don't really like the foxface, so he's out. Maybe stick to smaller tangs...

Probably a wise choice. The Ctenochaetus (bristletooth) genus of tangs do great in smaller environments, as do yellow and purple tangs. There is still a lot of variety you get to choose from :)
