Under water camera

Going to Hawaii this fall thinking about getting a nice under water camera you can use snorkaling. Anyone have any tips or suggestions. Thanks for any help

I sure liked my Minolta dimage Xt with the under water box but that was many years ago.

camra suggestions & choices

Has anyone used a Cannon D-10 ? and how would it compare to the Minolta dimage Xt with the under water box or the Nikon Coolpix L22 & ULTRAcompact Housing, Ikelite?

here is a cannon link they do show a under water box stating its is good for 30 feet i don't think i could snorkal that deep (too manny miles on the swimer)

Well that cannon certainly looks like it would be more then adequate for a snorkeling trip and you don’t have to worry about putting it in a box for water use. I haven’t really looked around at stuff like then in a long time but sure looks versatile for a point and shoot no matter where you’re at, land or under sea.

Always been a Nikon fan, finding a good waterproof case is the hard part.
