Visi-Jet Protein Skimmer?

Any one used a Visi-Jet Protein Skimmer? how are they ?

What tank size? Visi jets are probably in the same catagory as Seaclones. They make better wind chimes than skimmers.

my brother had one..it was worth about the same as a hamburger!!! i would go with something that will help the tank way more efficiently......they are very cheaply made also!!

kinda sucks i know, but it seems to me you pay for what you get,


dont want to pay a lot?= hard time maintaining your tank

lots of $$$= clean eazyly maintained tank.

i wouldn't ever recommend a prizm skimmer for a larger tank, but for that size tank, i think it would do the job if you don't want to spend over $100...check out ebay for the skimmer if you want to get it...they are way cheaper on there..make sure you look for the one with the upgrade kit already included..i got one for like $80..it will do fine on a 29g

Passable = BakPak II with an MJ upgrade
Good = Aquac Remora with an MJ upgrade
Possible overkill = AquaC Remora Pro with a Mag 350.
