I can't believe I didn't think of this earlyer, I think I'm wasting vitamins.

Will carbon take vita-chem out of the water?

Not sure, but some people use carbon to remove medication after treating their tanks so quite possibly, but not positive. I actually have no idea what vitachem is:oops: :D

Since carbon removes organics too, you are probably wasting both vita chem and carbon. I add the vita chem to dried foods, none wasted that way. Great suppliment

Krish, is just vitamins. I think mostly vitamin C.

I'm using it to treat a blue tang a friend of mine gave me that has a terrable case of MHLLE.

Check this thread out. The fish is still kicking a few weeks later, but still looks pretty bad.

Hey Mike,

do you use it on your display fish? Or just for rehab?

Mostly just use it for variety. Me thinks that fish and corals of the sea, get a lot more variety than we could ever supply. Have been told by many that the ingredients in Vita Chem are great for the tank. I have noticed the formulation change through the decades. Used to be clear reddish colored liquid. I occasionally soak plankton and flakes in it.
