I think that the test kit I was using was bad. I tested the ammonia level with two other test kits and they both showed no traces of ammonia. I've been waiting for all the levels to stablize so that I can turn the tank into a nano reef. Any suggestions on what to put into the tank. I'm getting ready to change the lighting system to a 130 watt pc lighting.
