How long after the change did you get the tank? I ask because i was building tanks for IAP when John owned the company and made them for a while after the company changed ownership. I ended up leaving though due to the new ownership and the way things were going. I never let anything that the quality would be questionable on leave that place.

in all seriousness i would if you could use weld #4 to put it back together. that is what they used to make it so i would assume it would fix it. i know it might sound funny but like you said a few hundred bucks i would have to giveit a try

I may do it just for the experience, but I really don't see this thing going back into service. I've already ordered a new sump.
