What pump?

I may split sump by three with the return in the middle so the fuge can get slower flow and the skimmer side fast as I want

I would do 2 separate one sump and one refuge. Seems to work better you can control flow tru refuge w/o slowing tank flow.

three 250w MH one over 29gallon QT/ZOO tank (seperate system)w one mag 5
2 VHO 48" t-12 atantic
two 250w heaters
one 150w heater
one 24"x24" 8 bulb t-5 (over frag tank)also w/mag 5 return
one skimmer with two pumps on it
two fans Small
auto top off with small rio 600 pump
Really three tanks on two systems!

Most 1/4 hp are bout 5-7 amps start up, timers no biggie aqua controller like .05 amps most, calcium reactor 100w-200 watts depending on what pump using in c.r. It seems u have plenty juice.

I figuered so!!!
I got three empty breakers ready for the wires !
Was thinking ahead!
I just hate getting in my crawl space to wire things up

It gonna come down to how much money u want to spend on pumps ,plubming design and if you gonna use one sump/refuge or you gonna use 2 one sump and one refuge.

Could you take a pic of the sump let us see it? Is it a glass or acylic one?
If is an acrylic we can do a bypass on the sump/refuge to the intake of the pumps. On the outside of the sump.

cabnen is 42inch tall 30"wide and actually 8' long cause the 3' behind tank is where the frag tank is gonna sit

No way, my aqua-logic surged to about 21 amps & ran slightly over 5 amps.
I also measured a few others on start up & they all surge really high.

I'd either use an external pump for the sump return like maybe a pan-world or Eheim 1262, depending on how much head you may need more or less gph.
On a tank this size a Dart or a sq4200 would work well just remember to allow for at least two 1 /2" bh's tied into a 2" PVC for the suction of the pump, otherwise you'll loose lots of gph restricting the plumbing.

so an ehiem 1262 for sump return and a dart for the cloosed loop with two 1" bulkheads to a 2" pipe for the inlet and split in 4 for the output??
