WHAT' THIS ? It is some kind of brown algea, But what kind? And why is it at the most terbulant part of the tanK/I probably should change direction of powerhead because it is blowing directly here, But if I move it ,I will have to move a really nice monti growing on powerhead.Hate to do it cause it looks so nice. I'm not great at comp.so I hope I sent pic.

sorry, trying again. This is only on the part of the xenia and monti that gets the full force of water

Looks like the algea is growing on only the dead or dieing parts of the monti cap to me. If you keep up on water conditions the monti cap should encrust and grow back over the dead spot. IMO You really should move it away form the softy that stung it in the frist place so it doesnt get stung again. I have no idea what is going on with your xenia. Most likely chemical warfare from the same culprit coral. Kenya tree I believe.

The monti just started to appear out of nowhere on the kenya tree one day and grew and I fragged from that site several times. I really don't believe it to be a chemical war because I also noticed a very small bit of exactly the same algea on the tip of my powerhead. I know it is coming from that. just want to know what kind
