Just curious as to what these would be sorry to take up your time with silly stuff

Not "silly stuff" at all!

The first, does it have a skeleton? If so, it's probably a type of Fungia coral. If no skeleton, it's probably a Discosoma mushroom coral.

The second appears to be old Vermatid Snail tubes.

it will b hard rock like underneath it is a snail tube pic 1 and a green stripe mushroom (he a softy no skeleton)pic 2

my money is on scroll algae for that second pic. had it in my previous tank. looks very similar.

i had to look that one up. scroll algae is this a nusence? something to watch?
