I'm running an Octopus RPS-2000 recirculating NW skimmer (rated for 185 gallons) on a 135-gallon FOWLR. It does a good job of keeping the water clean and crisp. I used to run a Marineland 300 skimmer but couldn't keep the water from turning yellowish on me. No such problem with the Octopus.

i now am a proud owner of a MRC-2 becket style skimmer...im going to add a second injector making it a dual injection and add an 8" expansion chamber to it. this will be fed by a reeflo snapper...:heh:
