I was just wondering what the best things that everyone has gotten. You know the once in a life time deal. I think that so far mine has been the material for my stand I got it free from old front doors. It is wonderful old growth douglas fir.

Wow, You are Kidding! Your stand looked Fantasitc. You built that? Good Job Matt!

My best Deal for free....I walked into a Saltwatr Store and got a extra large Dejardi Sailfin Tang for Free. It was perfectly healthy, very personable, ate from my hand, brought many smiles for a long time.

My best free score has been the freinds I've made through this hobby.

I initially set out to type all of the different frags I have traded or received free, but the truth is they pail in comparison to the value of the people I have met and become freinds with in this hobby.

I know that there are more people that have found good deals. Lets here about them please. Maybe post some pictures of it.

Good deals and great people have given me the opportunity to continue in the hobby!

I have had the pleasure of recieving numerous good deals, by extremely kind hearted people. Recently I had been looking for a new sump, and I ended up with a Precision Marine Custom Sump (30 x 11 x 17) it is about 25 gallons. It also came with a PM Bullet 2 Protein Skimmer & a waste collector. All of these item looked extremely clean, almost as if they were new. My sump looks similiar to the one in the link below.

I recieved all these great items for the grand total of.......$100

Thanks for all good deals, but more importantly a sincere appreciation goes out to all the kind hearted people out there. Those who have gone out of their way to help people just like me, I couldn't do it with out you!

Oh I forgot to add, I also recieved another sump for free (25 gallon acrylic), which will probably be my refigium. It needed a little TLC, but hey it was free!

Jinkies... I thought my stand was overbuilt... then I saw charlie's...
Hrm... I'd say my best score would have to be my 7" Montipora plate that I've still been unable to identify... it has corallites like a danae, but also has vertical corallite growth... it looks like a monti that wants to be an efflo... :D

Wow Charlie! LOL
That thing going on a concrete floor?
If not can I see a pic of the bracing under it plz? LOL J/K

I have to agree that the people I have met and befriended is a total score.
