whats going on here?

My milliphora accidently got knocked around the other day. The backside had a branch break off, but the front looks like it is doing something. Its sending out "tenticles". Not sure what is going on.

That's not a millepora, its a hydnophora. Those are mesentarial filiments. The coral is either eating something or clearing out nearby competition for further growth.

its definatly sending out even more. Should I try to feed it while it is doing this?

No. Keep your water parameters stable, it will take care of itself. Keep in mind as it grows, it will continue to do this, and will kill other corals this way. It is aggressive in this manner. So dont put any other corals near by...

there is hair algea and some mojaros(sp)anemones fairly close...

my temp is lower then normal- about 76. Wonder if that had something to do with it?
