My milliphora accidently got knocked around the other day. The backside had a branch break off, but the front looks like it is doing something. Its sending out "tenticles". Not sure what is going on.
That's not a millepora, its a hydnophora. Those are mesentarial filiments. The coral is either eating something or clearing out nearby competition for further growth.
No. Keep your water parameters stable, it will take care of itself. Keep in mind as it grows, it will continue to do this, and will kill other corals this way. It is aggressive in this manner. So dont put any other corals near by...
