Let's see what everyone is using for their salt mix. Going by past threads, Instant Ocean seemed to always be top choice. Nevertheless, let's see if anything has changed.

Thank you Frankie for the idea :)

I use Kent Marine
The only reason I use it is because it is what the local pet center uses in there store tanks.

Salinity at the moment...But I am looking to change because of the disgusting residue it leaves in the mixing containers. Also the 225g containers, while being awesomely big, are very heavy!

I voted other. I'm one of those zeovit crazies and use RBS (reefers best salt) with spot on water parameters for this type of system.
In the past I had my best results with TMPR. (tropic marin pro reef)
IO (instant ocean) is ok to use but lacking in certain elements beneficial to a reef setting.
Good for a fish only system though~

aquavitro thinking of switching to nsw......what do you all think?

Was gonna get from the seattle aqaurium....anybody know the price on it? I hearfd 5cents
