Speaking of the past, remember I was having all of those back issues with my 2 herniated discs?? Well after the doctor's told me I needed surgery after they tried everything from cupping, to epidurals (sp), traction, physio etc I said I would give exercising a shot. Started out August past un-able to do even 10 push-ups (only way was on my knees). Also, couldn't bend over past my knees. Didn't give up or get frustrated and kept working at it from home. Also changed my diet to eat a lot healthier while at it. No junk food, fried foods, soda's etc and believe it or not, I have never been better!! I am doing things now I haven't been able to for the past 3 years!! Back feels amazing so anyone who has back issues, believe me when I say, the right exercises help. Just take your time, progress slowly and you'll be surprised! Here's a little before and after picture to show my progress. Nothing major, but definitely some progress. The idea was not to get big and bulky, but rather fit enough to support my back.
