Yeah...I know.(LOL) We are right outside the cone, but it looks like you are smack in the middle. Be safe Alberto! Hopefully all we will get is a little rain and some breeze to cool off this heat! My parents are in Freeport (where I use to live) and should get something. Hopefull Freeport won't get screwed up too bad this time as they are still recovering from a few hurricanes last year. This decade no doubtedly has to be one of the worst ever in history with all that has been going on lately from Tsunami's, hurricanes, terrorist attacks etc. I think it is about time we all get a break!

Stay safe, hopfully it won't be too bad. We still have folks, both reefkeepers and others without power from Rita. Most of the reefkeepers have already said no tanks going back up for a while.

Keep the faith...

So sad Mike. So sad LOL...................

Thanks toe evryone for the thoughts. I am hoping we will be just fine. Hasta manana!!!!

That's a strong one, hope it slows down before it hits land, man it moved fast today, which is good less time to destroy stuff, I was lucky this year hit us on either sides I was smack in the middle.

you know that's what i always say, if i could move somewhere it'd be either Los Angeles or Florida :D, but now that i think about it hmm i like more the rain than the hurricanes :p

The way I look at it, hurricanes only last a few hours and I know they are coming days ahead of time. If I want to get out of the path, I can always get on my car or a plane and leave. Snow, ice, rainy and overcasted days forever, tornados. Well, do I really need to tell anyone about them? LOL..............

Hey Alberto,

Why don't you ask Mike and us other Northwesterners, who live in the shadow of 14,412 foot ACTIVE volcano, what a larhar is and how long Mike has to move that beautiful tank of his!!! Or the next "Big One," earthquake that is...

I guess that no matter where you live, there's something you have to contend with... -Sigh- Good thing that we live in God's Country!

Hey Alberto! How's it going that way? We are off from work here in Nassau and are not even in the cone! My parents are starting to get some really bad weather now as they are in Freeport and the water and power is already off. I hope everything is ok with you guys in Florida! Take care

Oh man - I saw footage of a lahar on a show about volcanoes once, and I was glad to not be in the path of that! I'll take the "2 minutes to get to the basement" tornado warning! Mt. Rainier Debris Flows

Alberto - hope everything is going well!

I was around Mt Pinatubo the day it erupted and went back a few days later to check out my prawn farm. This was the day that the afternoon turn into night and rain volcanic sand that smells like ammonia. When every few moments you can feel the rumbling of the earth you'll start to think that it is the end of the world.

Our prayers are with all the folks in the path of Hurrican Wilma!Stay safe!

Joey

I am alive, but not by much really. I have been in 9 hurricanes so far and this is by far the worst I have experienced. No power here, no computer, not nothing. 6 million in the area without power. Tank is running on generator. Have some gas on site, but will be trying to get more soon. I am at work now, so I can't stay long. Will post more later. On a good note, the skimmer is foaming like no tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!
