So a returning forum member. Last time I was active my tank was 90g.

Lots of fun but ran out of room and my discus were eating up way to much time. Sold it off and just palyed with my Discus. Fast forward a year and the reef bug was still biting so decided go big or go home. Bought a used RR Aquaeon 180, built a custom stand and sump, some LEDs amd off we went.
Tank looked great and was progressing nicely. Than me and my wife decided to have a little one.
Decided 1200sq ft wasn't enough. Looked into doing a addition, but selling and buying bigger was going to be easier. Old house sold way faster than anticipated. So until we found the right house, to the in laws we went. 180 to big for the mother in laws sweet we would be using. So to craigslist we went and found a nice stubby 150. Moved 180 into it:
New house bought:

Decided 180 wasn't big enough and found the 240:
Stand was not in great shape so decided steel was a mucho better option:
and made sure everything would fit:
Than it happened and tank is now in new house:
Has been quite the journey.
Tank breakdown:
Custom 240g acrylic tank 66x30x28
Custom steel stand 40 tall (i like to stand in front of my tank and not have to bend over)
Neptune Apex with 24 outlets, 2 VDMs, PM2, 2 Icecap Jebao breakouts
5 Reef Radiance Prostar+ LED
Eshoppe 300 sump
Bubble Magus Curve 9 skimmer
Bubble Magus BP150 bio-pellet reactor
K2 Calcium reactor with 5g tank
Avast Marine K1 Nilson Kalk reactor
2 Avast Marine MR10 media reactors
2 Reeflo Super Dart Gold closed loop pumps (3400gph each)
Waveline DC6000 return pump
4 Jebao RW-15 wavemakers controlled by Apex
Finnex 800w and 250w Titanium heaters
150lbs of Gulfliverock aquacultured rock
100lbs of Marco dry rock
150lbs of aragonite sand and crushed coral
I did loose quite a few SPS after the last move. Had to leave for a week right after setting up and lights were set to high and bleached quite a few coral. Everything is settling down and two good friends have been helping ALOT to get the Apex programed and going. So building back up
Fish as of now are:
Two Spot tang
Two Bar Rabbitfish
Female Blue Chin Trigger
Carpenters Wrasse
Green Caris Wrasse
Copperband Butterfly
Chalk Bass
Future possible additions:
Male Blue Chin Trigger
Pr of Wantanabie Angels
Treo of Pyramid Butterfly
Pr of Skunk or Bluehead tile fish
Gobies/Jawfish/Dartfish
Couple more wrasses
Will get more pics soon. Need to finish cleaning up Apex wiring and aux. plumbing. Also need to bring SLR home from work, my iPhone lacks a bit.
Thanks for looking, Zach
