ive recently found alot of people in different countries and here also are using or starting to use this process im sure its been discussed here before but i had never heard of it until very recent...anyone have more info on this or is anyone using this product line? ive seen some of the photos from people that use it and they have amazing coloration not sure if those photos are edited or what just wanted to see everyone elses input...

I have been using Zeovit for the past 6 months or so. It's good but it's slow and no "magic bullet" (nothing is).

You can find a lot of good info. on the forum at www.zeovit.com

yeah ive gotten on zeovit.com and talked with alexander on there and it seems like a good system for me it really wouldnt cost much typically he was saying per 100gal. it costs roughly $15 a month but mines only around 50 total so thats really not too bad it just seems like the initial setup of it is going to be a bit of money. im thinking im going to try it after reading alot about it....

That would only cost me about $60 a month on top of my $100 electric bill. NOT! I guess Ill just stick with good lighting, good circulation, and heavy feeding.

Jan does, however, have a very colorful tank.

I am not even close to getting the colors the Zeo system is capable of, because my nutrients are still too high. Some of my corals look pretty good though. I'll work on pics (how many times have I said that??? )

Dang, remember that the next time you're taking one of your young relatives to Alderwood mall, I'm just a few minutes drive from there and I'd love to have you come over and check out the tank and the new tank project that's underway. :)

About Zeovit, I have to tell you guys, I just love dosing a little of this and a little of that, based on what I'm seeing in my tank and my developing intuition of what my corals may need. Zeovit is really great for being able to tweak colors and target specific issues in your tank. I don't mind paying the $60 bucks a month...I just economize on one less skincare product a month, you know? lol...

Well now that I have my new tank set up and a new camera + macro lens, it will be harder to find reasons to procrastinate on the pictures.

And anyone who has camera skills is invited to come over and take pictures, maybe show me the ropes on my Nikon D80. (That's a hint, Dang :p ;))

Hey Jan

Just wondering how your zeovit system is doing? Have you seen improvment in colors!

Hi there

Yes, my system is doing well and I continue to see an improvement in colors in almost all cases. Most of my sps took a hit during my tank transition (surprisingly so since all corals were stored in existing tank water, heated and aerated, etc....). Pretty much all corals have come back from the transfer with the exception of a few in my frag tank that are not under direct lighting; I have too many corals in the frag tank...must move corals!

P.S. I need lessons on the Nikon D80 too! Who's willing to teach us? :)

I just getting ready to do a tank transfer too! I know it will be a painful trasition(always is!). Thinking of trying either the zeovit or Reef-resh.

Hmmmmmm......I have a Nikon D40.
