Ok everyone i was reading on a website and they said this about zoa's

Zoanthids are a member of the Palythoa family and excrete a toxin that is harmful if not deadly to humans. A mere 10 grams of this toxin is known to kill a human. Gloves should be worm when handling this coral, especially if you have cuts or abrasions on your hands.

I didnt know that...

yeah dood they can harm you if youre not careful, always wear your globes and if youre about to frag them...wear gogles (you know the glases for under the water thingys :p) .

Holy hell 10 grams!

what are you roleing around in a 10x10 square of zoo's?

hell thats enought to get an intier party jumping up and down, and on the walls and ceiling and what not...

keep it outta your cuts, (and off you hands if they are soft) and outta your eyes/nose/ears and dont taste it....

it tastes bad

Yea, the nematocytes of zoanthids and palythoas are pretty toxic. I believe its called palytoxin, like one the most toxic stuff on earth. Thanks for reminding me of this, now I'll start wearing gloves...perhasp :)

just spread a little salt and sugar on it and it tastes like chicken

ive had my hand in some pritty nasty toxic non healthy type stuff.

ill just make sure my hands are not cut...

when i fraged it did it in the tank, with the flow off and a siphone sucking the black stuff that comes outta em when they break.

just by looking at the fluid that comes out when theres damaged or cut, should be a pritty go indacation to any cabon based life form to "say away"

i kinda cought that drift when i first saw....
