    Kalk reactor users - thoughts on these product?

    I have had my diy kalk reactor for 6 or 7 years. The maxijet 1200 that mixes it runs 10 minutes 3 times a day. I put a new pump on it 6 months ago and it was the third one. So the pumps last 2+ years each. Works perfect.

    Do a search for cabinet doors on the web. There a number of places that do custom raised panel doors in any size they are about 30 bucks each. I just finished making 4 of em out of maple for my new canopy.

    If you leave any part of them it will regrow new ones. Joes works great. Just stay at it until they are under control. It is possible.

    I have tried every creature that supposedly will eat them. Nothing would touch them. Foxfaxce, copperband, racoon, nudibranch. Joe's juice or other concoction is the only thing that works for me.

    Question about canopy height

    I am getting ready to build a new canopy for my 100 gallon. Currently have a short one for VHO's. Gonna put in MH's how much clearance do I need between the tank top and canopy bottom? Will be putting in two 250's with reflectors.

    I add kalk when the reactor looks empty or when the ph begins to drop. I can add 1/4 pound at a time and it will go for 3-4 months.

    Aptasia Treatment Kills Shrimp??

    I tried lemon juice. I have mojanos they shriveled up only to be just fine the next day. After spending tons on shrimp Copperband butterflies, and nudibranchs, Joe's juice is he only thing that kills them dead. I use it about every six months. I have about a hundred now, time for a killing spree.

    This one is in a 100 gallon reef with lots of fish. I don't think there is any way to get him out. Hopefully he can stay away from fish for a while. I think his chances are really slim unfortunately.
