    Worm ID, maybe bobbit type?

Ok, caught this worm. I don't think it is a bristle worm, being it has no bristles. It has these legs, each is like 2 but connected at the top (the legs). Kind of looks like a centipede, looks and color (yellowish). It's head seems to be smaller than the rest, almost snake like in shape...

The tang was found but not the firefish. They are MIA. Also, when i caught it, it released a redish brown slimey looking stuff as...

Will a red brittle star catch and eat fish?

The only reason i thought it might be the red brittle, is it perches across rocks, like the green death. never seen it do anything.

Will a red brittle star catch and eat fish?

I think that might be it. I have been watching the worm i first saw. Then i started to notice more, night by night. Then last night i found one that went from the back of my tank under a big rock and out the other side. This worm looked different than most fire worms in my tank. Most have a...

Will a red brittle star catch and eat fish?

Sorry it took soo long to get back, holidays and everything. I don't think it is the red star anymore. A couple nights ago I was spying after dark with the trusty red light. I almost had a heart attack! I saw a worm, about half inch thick! But I lost it before I could get my gloves and...

Will a red brittle star catch and eat fish?

Well it has been a while, been a very long summer. Glad to have a chance to come back here, just wish it wasn't for this reason. I have two fish that are missing, both fire fish, 1 red and 1 purple. one day red was gone, next day purple was gone? But my mandirin and scotter (slow movers) are...

Agae scrubbers? Are they worth the trouble?

I read that you should turn the lights off for some period, something the do with growing and filtering cycles.

Agae scrubbers? Are they worth the trouble?

Once I was informed of this device, I started researching it. I found myself on the algae scrubber forum, lots of info. I was just wondering what members in our great Forum had for thoughts. I haven't talked to anyone on the subject except a few here at RF. I have read the write ups by the...

    New Skimmer!

Sorry, with that 8 bulb t-5 unit, couldn't you find some LEDs for less. They have come a long way, and are a little more affordable. Especially when you consider new bulbs every 6-9mths! I actually got my LEDs cheaper than any other option for lighting and I don't have to spend extra money on bulbs

SWC Extreme cone 180, works awesome, small foot print due to the pump being mounted inside the skimmer body. Awesome unit, Thanks Skimmy:clap2:
