    Yes i do i have live rock in my sump. My sump has 5 chambers. I am trying to break in my etss reef devil in my sump. And that is a coralife 48" fixture with HO's i believe if im not mistaken.

    Starting a 120 gallon Fish LIST

    Through my experience I have a Niger trigger fish about 2.5 inches and keep him on a steady diet it shouldn't be a problem. Just remember some fish get pretty territorial when they get bigger. Good luck and looking forward to seeing your set up.

    If your tank is 24" high you would want to go for metal halides. But if it's like 18 VHO's is the way to go. If you have the money to get it I say get it but ask yourself is it necessary for "my reef". I know there is a lot of opinions out there and this is mine. I think for a 55 this light...

    It is a risk you can take to add live rock and corals at the same time because you are adding a big bio load. You might go through a mini cycle but will go away in no time if you have an established tank. I would do a 10-15 percent water change if you do add them. Goodluck and have fun with...

    If you ever think about buying a new set up go on craigslist it is the way to go because you can catch someone leaving the hobby. I would know what you want to keep in your tank and buy a set up to accommodate your livestock or even FO. Good luck and I have two damsels myself.
