    Use playbox sand?

I second what was said earlier, there are two sides to the story and the side that is against the silica sand (which is a really fine white sand) is mostly by those who have never even touched it. My friend used silica in a 300g ray tank with great results. I love the sugar fine look/feel to it.

    BTA Propigation/Fragging?

There was an article on this a month or two back showing exactly how to propagate an anemone. The most important part is cutting the MOUTH in half, since that is where anemone's naturally split to begin with.

    75E

I have a 75E and was curious if anyone hear knows if it is drillable? Is just the bottom glass tempered or all panels? I am assuming that the E in 75E stands for Economy. I would like to drill it or have it drilled. Thanks

    A couple pretty birds....

Beautiful snakes! There's times I miss all the herps, than there are times I don't miss the dedicated freezer for all their food either, haha. Mine are "aru" types (but who really knows). Getting more blue and white as they age.

    A couple pretty birds....

Good looking, how big is the female? Makes me miss the rest of my reptiles, darts. All I have now is a pair of chondro's I'm finally going to breed this year if I don't sell them soon.

    odyssey ballast

I am using an icecap ballast right now (in place of my oddyssea) no problems at all. If you are looking for another odyssea ballast I may sell mine, it is modded so it is more effective getting the most light out of your bulb where oddysea's are known to burn bulbs at less than full wattage.

Please see my bta photo's - is he sick?

I'm not going to tell you that's not a bta, but I'm 99.999% positive its not judging by the pink tips (and if it was one, it is quite bleached). If it is pulling its tentacles in, it is hungry. Try feeding pieces of scallop, mysis, shrimp, silverside, etc... Will probably take readily.

Tank at 72 degrees and never looked better

I tend to lean to the OP (thought process) but do agree with Mike. Being most of our tanks are reef tanks or inhabitants to shallow reefs the variance of temperature is more than deeper water organisms. Since our reefs are enclosed and limited to the amount of water in our systems steady is...

    painting a glass tank

Was that marine grade paint used on glass as well? Since glass doesn't corrode like metal, it shouldn't flake off. In the years I have seen/used paint on glass tanks, it will stay adhered unless scraped. Which makes it nice as well for removing. Prep is the key of course.
