    Little white creatures!!!!!!

    I have had this bloom of these little white....... i wanna say algea sized creatures. i have never had these before. but they are the size of a pin head. they don't move and are very hard to brush of the glass. Anyone know what i am talking about?

    I was just thinking the same thing with the washer. If i remove the DI part will waste reduce? If yes which part is the DI. i got this from a friend with very little information.

    Is there a way to use an RO/DI system without having the massive amount of waste water. I lose about 3g to 4g a day from my big tank. And using the RO/DI my water bill has shot up.     Could somebody direct me as to where i could find a cover glass for HQI housing? For some reason mine just shattered today. Does anyone know if this glass is tempered or special in other ways? The brand is generic so it is making it even harder to find. It is on a swivel housing. about 5 x 7

    New Ballast needed?

    i believe it is fixture. it has the two flourescent running parallel and the two halide running in the center. there is no brand or model. i opened one case where two little ballests sit. then there is the halide ballasts.
