    Moving my BTA

    I was taught to use a Ice cube and rub it across its foot. It will shink up and then fall off. I have done this several times and never hurt one yet. But then it just moves anyways most of the time. Most of the times it is a waste of time

    Wow my first tank was a 1/2 gallon. I had a pepermint shrimp, damsel, hermits, snails and I thought I was pretty cool. I had it for over a year. Nothing compared to yours.     their prices on replacement parts is awsome too. 5 dollars less than what I paid for a 12.00 part 3 days ago.. Oh well I needed the part. Now I can get spares for cheap. Thanks roscoe for the info. Its already in my favorites.

    the green algea ia killing me....help!

    I had the same problem, I bought a lawn mower bleeny and he ate himself to death. I have since bought more crabs, a bristle tooth tang who works his fins off, new lights and a fox face. The fox face and tang really tear that algae up. They got it all I now have to feed algae to them. Good luck.

    We have a couple fun loving dogs OK more than a couple. We have 5. We went to a auction in Tacoma and won a huge box of stuffed animals for 50 cents. It has lasted a year. We always have fresh stuffing to pick up. But it is easy on hardwood floors. But they cant touch the kongs they last...

    Ok my son used my scrapper to help me out to be "helpful". In doing so "somehow" he picked some sand up and scratched the front glass in my new tank. This is my first acrylic tank. What can I do if anything. Thanks in advance....

    Thanks alot for your info. I too will be looking at these units. I do have alot of stuff in the tank and I tried to add it up. I cant believe how much money I have in 55 gallons of water let alone time I put into it. Jeez cheaper to buy a unit and not being cheap...Thanks again....

    Ok now I am confused. I was told when I started about two years ago. That if you throw a powerhead and salt mixture or without salt (5 gallon bucket)for couple of days to week all of the bad stuff blows off and to save my money on distilled water or premix. So I keep a 5 gallon of bucket of salt...
