    Because they are cute! :)

    algae growth :(

I agree and I've done it before. So don't get frustrated! You can do it too! Slow down on the feeding a little (but don't starve the fish), use GAC and GFO is great AND I find doing consistant water changes where I siphon out any detritus under rocks and stuff, helps more than anything else...

    nano reef help

Shawn has some great advice! I would recommend a 20 long instead of the 20 high. You'll have much more real estate for coral, not to mention, the rock formations will pile better lower (and have less chance of toppling over). I would also put lighting and a skimmer as the most important...

my tank think its a nano 24 cube

Nanos eventually stabilize well, especially if you have a sump with all the goodies (refugium, skimmer etc). By the way, I noticed that you have a ton of stuff stuffed in your sump!! Awesome! I had a really tough time getting everything in the sump below my 29 gallon!!

I have another type of jumper. He is constantly jumping and jumping and jumping at the glass, trying to get over the edge.... :D

    NEW AND need help

I've had my 29 gallon running for a couple of years now. I have one bulkhead and I think that's enough. I split the cabinet space under the stand into one side for the 3 gallon topoff and all electrical stuff. The other side has a homemade acrylic sump with the return pump, phosban reactor...

What kind of sponge is this?

You're going to need to target feed it if you don't have much nutrients in your system.

    What do you guys think?

I could see using it for media such as carbon or phosban. Wouldn't it just work like a phosban reactor? You would need some slower flows though... I think people are opposed to it being used with sponges or pads where it would end up being a nitrate farm. (have you thought about getting a...
