    Just htought I'd share

I've been putting this project off for a while now but today being a snow day I figured I'd finish it up. It's a Koralia that is being rotated by a box I made using a idea I found on reefcentral. I didn't take any pictures of it being built but I still have to make another one and I will...

The list is nothing spectacular but here it is. I'm giving away some silver tip pulsing xenia, kenya, GSP, some small toad stools, and some random mushrooms and zoas a few small orange digi frags and a few single heads of frogspawn. First PM first serve basis.

    Drilling a glass tank?

i've drilled allot of holes with success with my ebay chinese hole saw:D. I use a drill with a adjustable clutch and have someone hold a running garden hose over the spot i'm drilling. Sunset glass in bothell(i think) has drilled a tank for me too, i think they charge something like 25 bucks a hole.

    Whidbey Island

damn, wish I would have read this before I left. Oh well, I'm back now and my tank took quite a hit while I was gone. Somehow a dart ended up in my sump and took out a few of my SPS colonies but the wife did a real good job of handling the problem and everything is doing well again.

    Say Something Bad

I wouldn't hesitate to buy it. I'm 4 of the same ballasts, reflectors and bulbs on my 180. The only difference is that I went with PCs because I had them allready but wish I would have gone with the T5s. Also, if you do go that way you can get a 5% discount by using the code rconly5po.

    Say Something Bad

I have AROs on my display and PFOs on my frag tank and would personally choose the AROs over the PFOs based solely on the price difference. As far as the icecaps go, I have no experience with them.

    Say Something Bad

Yup, for bulb choices I'd use 14k hamiltons and super actinics. Again that's my preference.

Retrofits are really easy to install and are usually quite a bit cheaper than a "all in one" hood. Check out www.hellolights.com and price out their retrofit halide/t5s. As far as the odyssea light, I have one on my clown tank and you definitely get what you pay for.

    Octupus Xtreme skimmer

the 160 should be plenty for a 75

you mentioned a hood, are you trying to stay away from a retrofit?

    project cheap frag tank

Just thought I'd share. Here's what I did with the two tanks I scored yesterday http://www.reeffrontiers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=34321. I was able to use parts I had laying around the house. All in all It's cost me under fifty bucks to do this, which I'm quite pleased about. Now I just need...

    need help asap

Xenia are very temp sensitive from everything I've read. As for the skimmer, run it and see what kind of nasty nog you pull out then decide if the fuge is all you need.
