Anemone split!
Well I just got to watch my Bubble Tip Anemone split!!! What an interesting thing to watch. It was in my 35 gallon hex tank. While this was taking place I heard a crash in the other room. It had sounded like rocks falling in my 120, which turned out to be exactly what had...
McLendon's in woodinville. Pack a lunch, and get ready to search. They will most likely have what it is that you want but it may take a bit to find it. The old saying of 10 pounds of stuff in a 5 pound sack comes to mind when I go in there. I really do love that place!!!
Well today I picked up a couple more fish, to go along with my mated clowns. The new fish are a Flame Angel, Sunrise Dottyback, and a Orange Shoulder Tang. These were all picked up at Denny's Pet World. I still don't know much about the fish so I had to take someones word on compatability...
I still cannot get a photo of them, since they are so small and only able to see just a small section of leg's, or arm's. I will keep trying to get photos.

I noticed today that I have a few black/white legs sticking out of one of my rocks. It appears that it could be a star, but I'm really not to sure. Anybody know what it might be that I'm seeing. Also if you have a picture of the possibilities that would be cool. Also are they a good or bad...
Yes my definition of commando would be to travel without your under garments!!!!
So how would one tell if it were stormatello snails, ard is that good or bad. I'm not familiar with them.
The zoos on the bottom are awesome!!! All the pictures are great!! Thanks for posting them it is alwaye cool to get to see a mature tank, hopefully one of these days I will be there!!

I picked up 20 snails for my 120 this week, now after being in the tank for about 3 days I have noticed there are four or five of the 20 that have decided to go commando!! What is causing this any ideas?

Would it be a disadvantage to cut that flow back a bit, thinking that may be a bit much. And or say put that pump on a timer and only run it 6 or 8 hours a day. Looking for input, thanks for all the help guys and gals.

It has (2) 1.5" drains to go to the pump. And (4) 3/4" returns from the pump.
All is plumbed with 1.5" pvc to below the tank. The manifold at the 3/4" returns is all out of 1" down about 1' below the 90 degree bend feeding the manifold.

Would it be a bad idea to put a tee in my return line from my pump to my tank to allow myself the ability to run a Uv sterilizer off of the same pump????? Not sure of the pros or cons of this idea.

I'm ready to purchase the needed loc line for my C.L. What nozzle type do you prefer, the round one, or the flared one, or some other type. This will be with four nozzles and probably a Reefflo dart pump, in my 120.
Thanks for the input,
Jason
