Sunday, all lit up! Pig #1 Pig #2 Pig #3, the Blue Jaw Trigger, was being camera shy. Madison had to get in on the action.

    My 300 Gallon sps tank

The family headed over to Montana, last week, and we visited Charlie while there! Charlie, thanks for the great BBQ! T'was great to see you. Of course, I took my camera and took some pictures. I finally got around to editing and uploading them, last night. Charlie, that "Tang Therapy" shot...

Just 30 days until our LEGENDARY 2012 summer BBQ/Potluck Frag/Equipment Swap

11 days until our annual BBQ/Frag Swap! What corals would everyone like to see? Who's bringing corals to trade/sell/give away? What are you bringing? Does anyone have any equipment they'd like to swap or sell? Bring it along!!

    Glasscages.com

Be aware that Starfire glass also scratches very easily. In order to make it more "clear" it has a lower lead content, making it "softer." I've found that out the hard way, with my 200DD. IMO, unless you're dealing with glass that's thicker than 3/4", the starfire isn't even noticeable. I...

Newbie! On the lookout for an aquarium!

Welcome! You've come to the right place. Be sure to do A LOT of research, before making a single purchase! This will enable you to purchase the most appropriate equipment, rather than making the mistake a lot of us have, and making bad purchasing decisions, which end up costing more money in...

    I am so BAD....

You didn't get banned and it was post 25, which was edited, presumably for ignoring post 23... You may have received an infraction, but you're still showing as a registered member, not "Moved On," which would indicate a ban.

    HELP!!!

Switch your halide bulbs out first. That will tell you if it's possibly a bad bulb. If the "good" bulb starts flickering, when you move it to the "flickering" side, that will eliminate the possibility of a bad bulb. Then, switch ballasts. Your ballasts probably have plug ins, not the power...

    Weird Worm ID Please

Definitely a Peanut Worm. Completely harmless. That large portion is usually never seen. They burrow into live rock, stretching out to feed. They're actually really cool to watch as they're feeding.

    A whole new dimension!!!

Yeah, I'm pretty bummed. I should have thought to put a heater in the outdoor stock tank. Everything in the indoor stock tank did just great. I'll get pictures taken and posted soon...

    A whole new dimension!!!

Well the project is almost done. Unfortunately, I've suffered some losses...GRRR. I have some livestock outside, in a 100 gallon stock tank, without a heater, since the temperatures have been so high during the day and not cooling down much at night. Unfortunately, Sunday night, it cooled...

    A whole new dimension!!!

Thank you! I will be posting up some Before/During/After photos, once this is all completed. Yes, it is a lot of work. These aren't just "unwanted palys" though. These are extremely toxic and I'm almost sure they are responsible for some SPS casualties I've had recently. About a year ago...

    A whole new dimension!!!

I can't believe it's been so long since I've updated this thread!! Well, with a big project going on, I figured now was as good a time as any, to update. Over the past year, some really nasty, ugly and extremely toxic Palys have taken over a lot of the rockwork and about half of the bottom...

what kind of coral is this

It's not completely clear, in your photos, which coral you're referring to, but I'm pretty sure what you're photographing is a Zoanthid or Paly of some kind.
