    Chiller charge??

Hey Mike, If you have lost the charge in your chiller you have a leak, freon won't wear out. If you pay the bucks to have it recharged it will just leak out again. A good shop will press it up with nitrogen and check for leaks, then evacuate it before they recharge it. Larry

    Extreme Makeover House

I have to say it was a lot of fun, being able to help out such a deserving family, wow, so many people in that house the last night, must have been 200 people. Just the excitment and atmosphere was incredible. Cudos to Eric at Shark's Reef, he put everything together and I'm just thankful that I...

    Weld-On 40

Tom, yea that sounds like a perfect application for 40, the syringes we use are more comparable to those ones you put a babies medicine in to get it in thier mouths. No needles or nothing. Scratched acrylic help

From what I can tell from the pictures it looks like your tank has crazed. In other words it looks like someone used a cleaner or chemical on it that wasnt compatable with the acrylic. Not much you can do about it. Tank should still be fine to hold water but it will never be a show tank...

    diy sump

Big T, This is the kind we use. http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/Displayitem.taf?itemnumber=31264 Just set your project on a flat board on top of some 2x4's. Then put your joint on the edge, then use these clamps, not a lot of torque is required just enough so you see some weld-on...

    diy sump

Big T, If you apply clamps to the joint all your bubble problems will go away. Just wait a few seconds for the weld on to melt the joint before you pull your pins. Larry
