Looks very fun steve, glad you joined the club. I have been riding for the last 6 years and enjoy it quite a bit. I learned on a 2000 GSXR 750, that thing was a beast. I now ride a Z1000. Come on over and I will take you up to Mt. Rainier.
Your camera is not actually a "SLR" but seems like it is a pretty decent camera. When taking close up pictures with your camera rotate the mode dial to the one with the one with the little flower, that is the macro mode. You should then be able to zoom in closer and take better close up pictures.
Ya those are the ruby reds that I have been looking for!
Nick, I get all my zoa's local from Kahuna, Indoor Reef, and the Shark Reef.
Those ones in the pic up there I have only had a few weeks, and they havn't grown much yet.
I would have to agree that aquarium heaters are about the crappiest thing you can get for a reef tank. I also went with a ranco last year and love it. You can get them for $50 off of ebay, best investment you can make.
Yup they sure are nice. That pic is only cropped and pretty accurate on color. I got em from Indoor Reef, and they had a matching colony when I was there the other day.
Glad to hear that your busy. I have been pretty busy myself, but have added some real sweet ones to my collection. I did get a bout of zoo nudies again, but now have a lunar wrass that seems to be helping.
Krish, nice looking tank. I still think that you are going to have to put some sort of cover installed over the right side because salt creep is going to be a problem with the bubbles popping and how high your water level is. Have fun Krish.
