    Sponge?

    That is a huge piece of sponge I wish mine would get that big. I actually haven't seen one bigger then about a half dollar coin size in a home aquarium.

    Go RODI you never know what is in the city water, the PPM could sky rocket and you would never know untill its too late. I also have to wonder what effects floride have on reef aquariums. (floride is in most city water) I have gotten water from Aquarium Paradise a couple times and had not one...

    They are considered good unless like all things they take over your tank. I have seen a couple here and there in my tank but something must be keeping them in check because I have had my 75g for a year plus and I have seen litterally only a couple. Steve

    CURING LR

    I agree I would start running it about a week after you start to begin leveling out your tank from the curing proccess. But if you do'nt have one it will not hurt anything not to run a skimmer. Steve

    flat worms

    Blue velvet Nudibranch did the trick for me Also upping the flow in the tank, I haven't seen a flatworm since I did both those things in over 4 months. Be careful with the flatworm X, it works but like was said before if you kill too many flatworms at once you may nuke your tank. Steve

    Aiptasia - harmful or just a nuisance?

    Peppermint shrimp will eat them, but make sure they have other food after they finish off the aptasia or they might eventually go for your other LPS.

    Looking to buy a taller reef tank
