How are you dealing with reefing since COVID19?

Pandemic= same amount of water changes (not many), ordering supplies online. That was about the extent of it. I did swap the lighting in the cube with one of the Steve's kits. Probably wouldn't have happened for a long time without several months off. Krish it's good to see you around!

    Im New here..

one option may be like they've already said, hook another display tank up to your main tank. even just a small one to keep a couple pieces of LR and your beloved starfish. you wont need fancy lighting and all that since you wont be keeping coral in that tank. I would find even a chain lfs, and...

    My little 29gal tank

2 quick questions. are those wires tubing for airstones? and is that a tang in a 29g? just wondering what kind of flow you have going on in there. and how long the tank has been running?

the new member of the family

very cute dog. i'm probably too late to dish out advice, but i will anyway. because I know an infinite amount more about dogs than reefs. If she is still having accidents in the house, it is probably because she can smell her business on the floor. if they can still smell something on the floor...

leaking 54 gallon corner all glass tank

i just got done resealing my 55 last weekend. just clean everything really well. after you put the bead of GE silicone1 on,make sure to dip a finger in some rubbing alcohol and smooth it into the crease. lowes, home depot all those carry the silicone for around $3. It'd be a whole lot cheaper...

NANO TANKS? RED SEA v.s. SOLANA v.s. OCEANIC

all 3 are decent choices for a plug&play tank. dont count out jbj either. the solana is a nice tank, and if you dont like the pendant, you can just change it. i havent owned any of these myself, but I have seen most of them running and maintained

    reviving aquatics

srry got distracted with the smaller tank i set up. a little 5g hex. the tank is going to be a sort of half divider inbetween the livingroom, and the dining room. it just kinda fits there, and will be a good visual break between the two. My wife would shoot me if I put a tank in the wall,or...

    reviving aquatics

i'm looking right now into a 216w total (4x54) t5 hood, and i plan on using an overflow for the drainage. I dont think anything bigger than a 10g is going to fit underneath the stand. and since drilling a hole in the side, building a different stand, or fabbing a new sump is an option, I dont...

    Zoo relocation

so I am noticing very large zoo polyps forming in random places in my tank. but they are all clear, because I assume they're not getting enough light. can I scrape the individual polyp off of the rock and relocate it to a better location?
