    Green thing

Tube worm with algae on it. If you are not asking about the bubble algae but the tube like thing with a green tint, it looks like a tube worm with green algae on it to me. Its a good thing for filtering water of particulates. Not so sure about the green slime algae though. That and the bubble...

    Starfish Help!!

toothpick... Hate to say it because you sound so enthusiastic but that looks like the pest variety to me. I would stick it with a toothpick and get it out of there before it reproduces. In my experience, those little white guys end up eating corals. Now since it seems you have not gotten the...

    Problems with new I.O. salt?

Rob, BTW, the Bali green slimer acropora I picked up from you is doing great. I snapped the main branch off at the base and glued it to a rock. Then I glued the base of the heavily encrused plug to the back wall. Hope it grows straight of the back. Should look nice in a few months. Thanks. Eric

Anthelia die off sometimes. I love your pink sponge under the anthelia. It looks pretty darned healthy to me. The little feather duster worm is cute too. Personally I view anthelia as a pest and was grateful the month it died off in my previous tank (OK I stopped all iodine supplementing to...
