    Nano cube or Biocube?

From what I've heard the biocube is supposed to be nicer quality. However, the filter it comes with is fairly insufficient. It's easy enough to fix that problem though

T5 fixture: Aqua Medic vs Tek fixtures

I was wondering what your opinions are on Aqua Medic vs Tek fixtures. Is there a great difference in quality and light output?

    14 Gallon Biocube...

You're not supposed to run the compartments all the way full. If you look at the side there is a max fill line. I've also found that sometimes with those pumps you have to give them a gentle knock...

    RTN question

I do have a bio cube I could put them in instead of my main tank. If I put them as high as possible would that be enough light to hold them over until I can make sure they're ok?

    RTN question

ok. I just don't keep any acros so I'm not sure what I'll do with them, but I would hate to see them die

    RTN question

I'm assuming this acro is suffering from RTN, but I'm not sure. It was given to me by someone who wasn't sure what to do with it. The dead tissue appears to have started in the center of the coral. What I did was cut off the majority above the base (base was still fine) and then trimmed a couple...

    Another Berghia group buy???

Yeah give it a shot. It isn't cure all or anything, and you can't eliminate all of them, but it works for some of the worst ones.

    Another Berghia group buy???

another thing you can do (if it's just one or two near a colony) is place a snail shell or small bit of rubble over the top of the anemone. This will cause them to move onto the shell and you can just throw the shell away. I've done it with a few problematic Aiptasia.

    Grape Caulerpa invasion

I'm afraid I'll probably have to boil it, but was hoping there might be a different alternative. I wouldn't expect an emerald to eat it, and even if it did I don't know if it could get ahead of caulerpa

    Grape Caulerpa invasion

yeah...this situation just sucks because it's a huge rock. It's like 15 pounds. I wasn't sure if a emerald mithrax crab would eat the stuff (why are they inappropriate for a nano?). I thought about getting a pygmy angel for a little bit and then move him out, but I wasn't sure if they would eat...

    Grape Caulerpa invasion

So somewhere along the line I got grape caulerpa in my nano. Unfortunately, it's on the largest rock in the tank and is a real hassle to get out. I tried removing as much as possible, then soaked it in hot water and scrubbed the rock with a bristle brush. However, about a week later the rock is...
