Waiting on my hob precision marine skimmer.
Paid $30 off ebay and I think Ill have a pump for it.

I don't think ill need a controlled. Maybe if I see swings
Chiller goes down to 50F or so. Manual I uploaded said dont set below 40F.
Guess no artic tank. Dang

Honestly, I'm surprised the old lady let me have another tank. She thought I was selling my 120g or turning it into my coldwater.

I ran it last night for a cpl hrs.
Sounds like a bathroom fan. Not to bad. Echo in my garage prob didn't help.
Wanted to fix the leak. So I shut it all down for the night. I just did fix it... turns out I didn't glue that pvc fitting. Missed one oops.lol

Gonna add a cpl ball valves too so when I shut my pump down or take it out for cleanin so I don't get 10g of water everywhere.

Hopefully.gonna run it all day today.

The cpl hrs it ran last night. Droped the tank from 88F to like 69F.

You may be able to build a sound break/wall around the chiller.
Not to totally close it up, but on part way.
Use some sound absorbing materials.
When I had that chiller, I had it outside.
I built a open ended box around it and that even helped with the noise.

I'd like to keep the chiller in the open so it can breath.
Tank has been sitting in my garage
Hopefully I can move it into place today.
Got the unions and ball valves in place.
I can shut down the closed loop and remove either the chiller or pump with out spilling too much sw lol.

My bloody hob skimmer fell through so ill try my 1st skimmer I ever owned. Its a jaebo chinese one...

Must of missed that top part or something when they was finishin it.

Just fill in the gap with some silicone and house paint. Or bondo!

Gonna empty my drum and fill with rodi.
Got salt. Need plumbing for my try out skimmer.
It will have a ball valve and maxijet 1200
