Yeah, you would think that since it cost more and the pkg says live animals that they might try harder to get it where its going sooner. Its sad..poor fish. the stress from shipping is bad enough.

So right now I have just the one filefish.I think it would b kool to have a small group but also think a pair is all u can do?! Idk I've never kept filefish, let alone a coldwater one

Got some mylar reflector stuff today so I can see my critters a bit better.

Whitespotted filefish occur in pairs In the wild. But who knows what they would do with more roommates. Because who even has one of them let alone many. You sir are enjoying life on the frontier

Mylar came in a 10ft roll. So I cut it to size and placed it in the light for a reflector. Light is a standard t8 bulb I think. Its a big bulb and the ballast says 30 or 40w only.
