i didnt know if i should start another thread for this or not so

100GPD RO/DI $149.99, has anybody used it? How do you like it? how many stages? What all does it come with?

Is it the Water General brand RO/DI they have in their store on the back wall? I bought one of them and it has worked flawlessly for me over the last two years. I haven't had to change out the membrane or resin yet (I mounted the resin container vertically to keep it from channeling) but I've replaced the carbon / sediment filters once each.

We use two of them hooked together for our store's water. We did add an extra dual, full size, upright DI chamber because of how much water we use. We really like it. I know there are a few folks out there knocking the 100GPD RO membrane it comes with but we haven't had any problems with them.

It comes with one sediment, 2 carbon, 100gpd ro, dual horizontal di chambers. It has a drain saddle kit and some hardware. If you are connecting to a threaded faucet we sell that adapter seperately. It also has all hoses and a wrench. I believe they also include a pressure gauge.

Here's the link to them on our site. There are pics there.

Yep! I've got the same model as that one (and paid quite a bit more for it unfortunately... including pressure tank, extra plumbing, etc), except I opted for a horizontal filter for drinking water instead of the second DI chamber (I wanted a reef filter and drinking water from it, dual purpose / use). It's worked great for me over the last couple years and was most recently used to fill up my new 600 gallon system :) Still kicking out less than 0.1 on the TDS meter after two years of top-off / water change use with normal maintenance (flushing out membrane every so often, replacing carbon / sediment filters as needed, rotating DI resin chamber and mounting it vertically to avoid channeling, etc).

Cy, will you be limiting the number of people allowed in the store at a time? Seems like this could get packed early tomorrow.

It's probably too late already to find out before having to just show up tomorrow, but are the Reeflux line of lamps included in the 30% off Coralvue brand halides? After taking a long look at the lighting on your main display and frag tank when I picked up those monster koralias I decided that I like the color of the 20k Reeflux bulbs (previously used XM20k bulbs) and based on the graphs / data I've seen online they're prettymuch equivalent PAR-wise to the XM brand lamps.

Based on the last two sales, "comfy" is a pretty good word for it. Sid seems to enjoy the cuddling necessary to get past the front register area :)

<Mr Burns> Excellent! </Mr Burns>. I'll be there! Need four new bulbs for the new tank :( It's not ready for swarms of new livestock yet unfortunately (water still too cloudy) but I can always pick that up later!

Works for me, after how quickly you were able to get those Koralias over to me I've got no problem with waiting on a raincheck. I'll be after two of the Reeflux 400w SE 20k and two of the Reeflux 250w SE 20k. Should be enough to cover an 8' x 3' x 2' tank with lumenarc reflectors. I like the 20k bulbs because I usually don't use supplemental actinics and from what I've seen in your display tank and online the Reeflux 20k are a brighter blue / slightly more white tone than the XM 20k lamps. I would have just stuck with the XM bulbs, but my icecap 250 ballasts are supposed to have trouble firing them (haven't tried yet) and I don't want to mix brands between my 400 ballasts and the 250s :)

Good plan. They should be exactly what you want.
