I picked my vortech up from custom aquatics. I let it run for a couple days to see if it would quiet up and then contacted EcoTech Marine via PM and they were happy to take a look at it. The new one, or repaired one will be back here on tuesday. I hope its quieter than the first one. If it is, and I find its doing what I hoped, I'll get the upgrade kit to make it an MP40

The MP20 I got from Jayson is pretty quiet! I am going to order the upgrade to the mp40. Duane when you do get the upgrade you also have to get the power supply upgrade too. When I spoke to Echo Tech a week ago about the upgrade they told me most of the retailers have it listed wrong. They are trying to get ahold of all the retailers that has it listed wrong. According to Echo Tech the retailer are listing the MP40 upgrade module without the power supply upgrade which you will need to run the MP40. Echo Tech sells those parts directly from them $150+ shipping for both parts.

I know exactly the spot your looking at. It caught my eye right away, I can say with 99% certainty that those arent AEFW bite marks.

FB123 The chalice frag had five eyes when I brought it home. It just didnt have as much color in them.
Sarang, I probably wont be doing much fragging until this fall if I can avoid it. Besides, Ive recently come down with a Red bug cold and dont want to treat the display any time soon. And, you need to get the 270 up and running.
Jeff, lets do some drunkin fragging on the 17th. You'll have to teach me the true sectret to keeping chalices. So far, only about 70% of them like my tank.
Dang, the purple tort at the top of post 168 is the one I promised you a frag of. The blue polyps are starting to come back and it finally, after three years, is starting to grow. I've never fragged it as long as Ive had it, thats all the bigger it is. I'd like to see how quickly it grows in your tank.

Maybe we should get most of the fraggin done before the drunkness is in full swing...haha...sounds like a plan though...that piece of the above mentioned chalice you gave me is colored up and on it's way as well.

Yes you are right I do need to get the 270 up and running. I got the glass and silicone over the week. I am hoping to put the new glass in this weekend.
I hope with all my heart that things go smoothly for you when you do it. Then you are welcome to some tank warming frags.
