Painting and more painting
When i paint with Krylon Fusion paint i follow a couple of rules which helps me recieve a nice finish. First i soak fitting, valves, or what ever to soften price tag. Once removed i use WD40 to remove glue then i wash in hot/warm water with soap, rince then dry. I then take a lite grit sanding sponge and lightly go oven fitting. I them mask off areas needed and start painting using several light coats waiting 15 minutes or so before next coat.
* I wait a week before messing with fittings after painting as this gives finish time to harden i believe this is a very important part of the process.
