going full circle again. thanks

Never heard of them, but i must say ASMskimmer.com has some great skimmers and lowest prices and great customer service and a great help me forum, thats what i use for my 220. I dont get endorsed by them, but i think i am goin to start makin them pay me a nickel every time i sell one, lol

thanks for the info but i am only interested in air driven skimmers.
the reason i picked the cpr is it's basically the only one left thats
commercially available.i suck at building anything!!

Well that sounds like it might be big enough to be effective as a air driven skimmer w/ the aquaticeco stones. I would go w/ the sweetwater rather then the tetra, and hopefully those stones will serve you well. Make sure you let us know how it goes! Also check out this thread about a similar sized skimmer converted to aquaticeco stones, and it is worth reading the whole thing, they talk quite a bit about different size stones and pumps, and stone orientation. http://www.reeffrontiers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7906&highlight=redeyereef

If you havn't seen the one we finished last night check this out too. http://www.reeffrontiers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10217&pp=40

On the stones and air pump its always best to shoot aquatic ecosystems and just asked them if they match up.
