i did a 10 gallon water change now my amonia level is 0.8 what do i do i have a damsel butterflyfish niger triger clown dont want to lose them please help!

Only thing you can do is keeping making water changes, tells us more about your tank, size, how long has it been up, inhabiits, equipments and other paramerters. If your tank has not been thru a complete cycle, then that is the cause of your problem, if that is the case you can call your lfs and ask them to board you fish until your tank finishes cycling.

amonia off chart

48 1/2" long 55 gallon 13"wide 21"deep been set up 2 months with live sand live cycled rock 3pd started with two damsels amonia level, leveled out in 6 weeks added a clown ,nigertrigger, butterfly a week and a half later did a 10 gallon water change cleaned filter, last night amonia level shot sky hi

What kind of filter and filter medium are you using? Keep doing your water changes, Are you using RODI water?. Also make sure you water change water is the same temp, ph ect as your tank water. What test kits are you using?

It seems like you're adding too many fish to too young a system at too fast a rate.

Is it possible that the ammonia test was not done quite right? Did you repeat the test more than once?

has anything/anyone gone missing that could be dead and rotting under a rock somewhere?

Too many fish Too fast. SW aerobic bacteria take much longer to propogate than FW. (assuming this is where the hobby started for you) Your biological filtration has only begun to mature and you added a huge load on the system. Believe it or not, cleaning the filter at this stage actually hurt the biological bed. You needed every bit of that bacteria to help filter out the added load.
Patience is key. Think of it like bottling a fine bottle of wine.....mmmmm....thirsty now.... :)
Keep up Gentle water changes.....keep testing stop feeding until the levels stabilize and if possible, like mentioned earlier, see if your LFS will house a couple of the bigger fish to be added one at a time at a later date with AT LEAST a week between. With an unmature system, I'd wait another month before adding one more.

Good luck
