Hey ? for you all out there. Is there such a thing as to much watts per gallon? and if so, what is the best for a clam tank?????????

Watts per gallon is not really relavent with all the low watt, high output lighting options available to us reefers (T5, LED, Plasma). What size aquarium? Clams typically need a lot of light but in most cases LED, Halide, or 4+ T-5's will be enough. I have seen clams kept within 12"-15" of 5 Watts+/gallon of PC and VHO as well. Can you have too much light on a reef....uummm...yeah...I guess. You could overheat your aquarium and some corals don't like being hit too hard or need to acclimate to increased intensity. On the flipside, there are some corals that probably wouldn't mind whatever you throw at them. Probably not the best thread for this question though

We both post the winners here, as well as call to notify the winner of their prize... Usually we get back to everyone the day after the sale. So no, you don't have to be present.

You were sent an "order processed" email that had your raffle ticket number in it. Sometimes these emails get sent to spam. Check and see if you still have that email. If not, I will find your ticket and resend you the number

Its at our store but its crazy like a Black Friday Walmart Sale At least it is for the first couple hours on Saturday. If you are not a fan of crowds or waiting come later Saturday or Sunday.
