Ok guys bear with me,

So I was reading Lee article about vitamin supplements and their ability to improve fish health and coloration. I read through the ingredients in Selco and did some research into its process and manufacture. It is almost identical to Emergen-C the drink mix. Thats right, I went to costco and bought a huge pack of unflavored (that's important) drink mix and voila. I put two into my sump in a high flow area and my fish were all over it. I have been doing this for about a month now and I am shocked by how great my fish look.

Haha I am so weird.

Ciao!

Thanks Finn, been reading that thread ever since you posted the link...lol. Still not sure about it though. In that thread, so far, there only seems to be a couple of people who have had beneficial results. Although I haven't read any negative results as of yet. I'm currently on page 15. Sure would be nice to have some experts chime in on this method. I see where most are using it to solve problems with Zoanthids. I currently don't have any issues with my zoanthids. They're always open, except when feeding. Just wondering if this truly has any benefits for the total reef tank. I'm interested in learning more. I do see the benefit of using a buffered vitamin C as apposed to non buffered, when it comes to the potential drop in pH.

Pufferpink started that last year and I started the buffered vit c about 3 months ago.
I'm not totally convinced it's a cure-all, but I haven't seen any negative affects. I'm watching my tank very closely.
